Located in far North Queensland, 25 kilometres south of Cooktown, lies the black mountain known as Kalkajaka.'
Steeped heavily in Aboriginal Dream Time legends, this mysterious area has been associated with extraordinary stories and grim tragedy.
During the past 100 years, human, horses and cattle have wandered into the vicinity of the black mountain and vanished without a trace. Disappearances which, to this day, remain unexplained.
